He's a 4yo homebred gelding, my daughter is 5 and loves him to bits!

Thanks everyone.

Doncella He's by Lohekey Helios De Bornival (BSJA Silver Disk) out of my TB mare by Handsome sailor from same sireline as Lauries Crusador. Sadly I lost the mare 2 years ago to a twisted gut but she was as laid back as him, super super temperament.

lol bunny huggers....these kind of people make me laugh, im sure OP knows this horse inside out and if she deemed it dangerous for her daughter i can imagine she would never have let her do it. I do the same with my 2yo, ive had him since being 4.5 months old and know him inside out and back to front, id be quite happy to let a 5yo child approach him from the front and stand exactly where that little girl is. Some people live to lecture.

Lovely picture :)

That is gorgeous, that pic needs framing and I hope you realise by the time she is 12 you have lost your horse :) stunning

I know, it's one of my fave pics. I've half lost him now, she rides him round the arena with me next to her and a hat on (her not me)

TBH I probably let her do a lot of things people would consider dangerous, however, life is too short, she could just as easy get knocked over by a car, or stick her fingers in a plug socket or something. She's been round the horses her whole life. I bred this boy and he is so like his mother in nature, at 12 months old my daughter used to sit on my mare in the stable, she was 16hh and I had no problem with it, I trusted the mare implicitly. I think most horses know children are children too, I one had a loopy chestnut mare, 13.3 that never stood still, I was on her in the yard one day and some lunatic woman had left her 18 month old child unsupervised who walked right underneath said nutty pony....it's the only time she ever stood still! So yes I appreciate it's dangerous but I am aware of it and take precautions where necessary. He knew she was there and is quite used to her crawling all over him when he's led down, he's never moved once and adores the attention. :) She also used to cling to his legs in the stable which I did drag her away from, she hated going home!! She leads him a few hundred yards down the lane from the field too. He is just so sweet and genuine.

last year he was 3 and she was 4, no idea what they are both staring at!

Another cute photo, its great to know that you can trust your horse with small children, he looks a lovely, kind boy :D x

Awww this is sooo cute :D :D :D

Not half as cute as yours but.. the other week I found my boy in the field sun bathing, the first time i'd seen him do so (he's new) so I slowly approached him, wondering if he'd mind me disturbing him, but as he didn't I sat next to him, my lab layed by his belly and my crazy Jack Russell ran around him in circles :D I only wish someone had a camera :) x
