Have you got full papers then? If not, get them and if In that case I'd be getting him in proper Connie and m&m classes pronto! ... :p

I have a roan version of your chap OP and also am too old for ISHT classes. So 'welcome to my world, won't you come on in' I feel your annoyance too.
 
No, he has a white passport. Irish Connie society will send out kit, get.vet to take bloods and then Connie society will dna test.

Lol, am not that annoyed as he was bought to jump and that he does and gives me confidence over fences.. However I do love showing so would like to do it aswell. He is shaping up to be a very nice all rounder.
