thoughts and experiences of tbs

Love my two boys and as many posters have said they can all be different just as with any other breed! I wouldn't be without them they are both such lovely characters and damn clever/cheeky with it too :D Very quick to learn and move, it's great to see them settle and enjoy life :D

QR 0 I had a TB mare on loan last year. She was so laid back, she was horizontal!! My sister (who hasn't been around horses for nearly 20 years) happily groomed her once whilst I mucked out. She had a big fan club on the yard, and all the norvice helpers loved putting her out, as she was so calm.
When ridden, she was the same, although when we hacked out, she was more "awake" but nothing that worried me at all, infact it was nice to have a horse that walked out.

I wouldn't rule any TB's out. I have seen cobs more unsuitable for novices!!

Good luck!!

If I didn't know better, I'd say it was my TB you were describing!

I've always ended up with TB's at riding schools or on loan and have encountered both "types", the good and the bad! I'd say though that they "good" type were more prevalent :)
