Orff to see The Man tomorrow re. The Elbow.

I have all crossed that he will say I can drive again!

Hubby has been taking me when Friend couldn't

and I'm not sure he'll take many more "We just need to go to the yard for a couple of hours", which in reality turns into five hours

I clipped a dog last night, and that required a fair bit of movement

. LC bashed it today, which was a bit ouchy, but it's three weeks today, so has to be getting better? Can't straighten it yet though, which is a drag

if he says you can drive then i think it is fundemental to you welfare that you come to Stoke on monday and babysit me while the vet comes to doo teeth and stuff!

I broke my elbow a few years back and it is so annoying as it really does stop you doing the simple things.I couldn't get my socks on.
I had only had my horse 2 months and then I had to get someone to look after her and I to,had to get the OH to drive me up to see her.He used to dump me there and come back for me hours later. Not that I could do anything much.

So finger crossed you can get behind the wheel again and get back to normal soon.

oooh hope docs give you the go ahead to drive, but don't go overdoing it if they do, it's still got lots of mending to be getting on with.

Good luck.

I have broken both elbows. Carrying buckets of water works wonders for straightening! Just watch you dont twist your shoulder to compensate! Hanging from bars also helps so you need to get to the local play park! Push it hard and you can get the straightness back but you have to be determined. Bear in mind I was told with the first one I would get 5% movement back and the second 50%! My arms are virtually straight!
