Thoughts on D+H "stroppy mare"

Bought some at YHL to have a go with, who rates it??

And of course... who doesn't like it?

Never used Stroppy Mare, but i used Placid in the same range with no effect whatsoever!

I used it on my mare and it was excellent, noticed a definate improvement. It's no miracle cure but i felt i could safely walk behind her!

I used it for about 6-8 months and really thought it made a difference - I think it maybe did, to some extent, take the edge off. However, since getting to know my horse, her settling in to her new home with me and her receiving ground work, I feel it was more a lack of understanding between us than the herbs taking effect. She only had a few scoops at the beginning of this year and then nothing since and is totally fine - none of the marish behaviour witnessed previously. She is still quite young so has her silly moment but nothing like the first year together when she was a nightmare!

My mare was on it for the first season of the year and it really calmed her down

I used this on a mare for two years. When I stopped giving it to her, I couldn't tell the difference

I bought some for my devil horse last year, she won't even eat it unless it has a dose of garlic with it, and she is not a fussy eater in any way!
When you do get her to eat it, there is a slight difference, but not much!
