Thoughts on Dutch Gag.

I only use my dutch gag on the second ring down for galloping. It is the only bit that I can stop my exracer in! Have tried him on the loose ring snaffle for galloping, but cant hold him and can not stop him very easily. This is the only time I use it as he can also get very strong. Foe every thing else he is ridden in a loose ring snaffle. Use what works for you and your horse.

I have found she is very repsonsive inthe bit - even on the loose ring part. I am not sure she will go into gallop anymore!
