Thoughts on newfield mickley and appleton le moors xc courses please!

Have seen a couple unaff ode's scheduled for these two venues and would like some thoughts on what the courses are like. Ive never been to appleton le moors and only went to mickley once YEARS ago when i did the open (remember it being meaty) will be doing the 2'9/3ft courses as on a rising 6yo.

did both last year both are very nice Mickley is meaty if you jump the open track but the novice is very fair and educational

I agree the open course is meaty but the novice is a fab course! Ive done it many times and there are variations every year. It is educational but kind and a great galloping course. Id def recommend it.
