Thoughts on Premier Equine - MW/HW Rugs???

I have the premier equine trio turnout. Amazing! This is the second year I've used it and its still brilliant. I used to be a staunch user of T/O rugs for T/O and stable rugs for stable. I was forever changing rugs! But since using this it is so much easier and the liners are a much better way of doing things than having under rugs, fleeces, duvets and any other combination you can think of. I still have four other horses in other rugs but will be looking to change them all to the premier equine trio when their rugs need replacing. I had the PE trio on a very pathetic TB all last winter when he was living out due to injury, he was warm and dry at all times and considering the snow and temperatures we had that was fairly impressive. Plus it saves on the cleaning bill in spring as you only have one rug to clean.

All my rugs are premier equine and I also have the PE trio and love it!!! And funny enough it's also my 2nd year of using it and it's still as good as new!! Would definately recommend them and have converted 4 other liveries too :0)

Have a buster trio and love it :). Also have their 100g stable outer and two sets of liners to go under them. In hindsight you only really need one set of liners but it means I have spares when it comes time to wash, and I even use them underneath my other 'normal' rugs :D. Im hoping to slowly replace all my rugs with PE ones. Ive just ordered a 40g turnout and another 100g liner for layering as they are brilliant even under rugs they weren't designed for :p.

I really love them and would have already given in and bought another wardrobe but for the fact I think its more than likely my 2 and 1/2 yo is going to need at least one rug size bigger than she is currently when she's finished growing, so Im squeezing her lanky bod into 6ft3 normal rugs still for the mo :o.

Ive tried all sorts of rugs over the years and these are definitely my favourite by far :D

Be warned with the heavyweight rugs that they are warm rugs, particularly so when using the liners because of the trapped air so if you have a naturally quite warm horse you might not get huge amounts of use out of it. If you want a rug for winter rather than a rug for most of the year (buster trio), then I would probably get a 300g rather than their 450g with a set of liners to get the most out of it :)

I have a buster trio and a heavyweight turnout love them great rugs size slightly to the large size.ie a 6'6 will be ok in a 6'3.
only word of warning the heavyweight is so warm we can only use it in the coldest weather as the horse gets to hot
