I know that he is cheap, and doesnt come across as a well schooled horse, but he does sound like Flint and to be honest, I would rather have a challenge of bringing him on and shaping him as much as poss as a horse I can just jump on and ride off with. I know he has sweethitch, if your does how do you find mild sweetitch on your horse? do you put creams on etc? I knew someone who used to clip and turn out and leave in with a flysheet. Anyways... here we are

Actually i rather like the look of him

but im odd!!

i think the owner is probably overestimating his quirkyness (admitting to being that young in an add is a bit dim) ok, maybe hes not straight foirwrd but i'd go and try - you never know, he might just be 'special' and if he is, hes a bargin!

Ooh I like looks like it could be fun. Look at that jump hope you have sticky bum jods

looks like a different horse in the first pic !! looks like it has white on its nose if you look closer !!!

I think you may be onto something there...... no trace of white on the hind legs in the first pic either... unless it was really really muddy.... does look like the first pic has white on its nose too....

I dont understand, why so?

Because I can't face a fence any bigger than about 6inches off the ground!!

Yep, I know, I'm a wimp!!

The fact that the girl says he's not a novice horse, rides like that over a fence, yet proclaims "she finds him easy" suggests she knows nothing and has been seriously neglecting his development. A horse that drops his legs over a fence like that, travelling at such speeds, will kill someone within a matter of time. Sorry to be blunt!

Ditto markings change throughout the three pictures! Full credit to the girl riding in the first pic!! :-)

the 1st pic looks dodgy but 2 and 3 are defo the same hrse

Phots 2 and 3 are the same horse. The first photo has a horse with no white socks behind but it does ahve a white off fore! So this could be the mud! Nevertheless the 3rd pic show a nice technique. I'd definitely consider viewing at this price. You dont have to buy it!

But I'd get onto it quick because at this price it shouldnt be around for long.

No comment on the horse, but what are the legal implications (if any) of buying from a minor. Does it reduce your comeback?

I dont agree with that- Many of you would of got on my last horse and found him difficult yet I knew him inside out and didnt find him as bad as people made out that he could be

Yeh I would question the first picture. Have you been using horsequest.co.uk too, personally I much prefer it. I also know a very respected 'dealer' near you that would keep an eye out.

problem being money- the longer I have had it- foolishly the quicker I am spending it!!

I agree. I think this horse has not had the basics sorted but has the courage and could be sorted in the right hands. maybe not to make a top horse but a good RC Eventer/allrounder. But i would suspect from what she says it would need to go back to basics with the jumping, once the flatwork was sorted. So not a quick fix as such.

Now I'm just praying Flintus (or anyone else!) gets there before us!
