thoughts please 14.3 am I too big

Hi all, just wanted people's opinions please. I have a 14.2/3 gelding who I adore but sometimes I worry I am too big for him. At present he will be out on full loan but I hope to have him back one day. Can people give me there thoughts as I don't know whether to do loan with view to buy and get something bigger in the future or stick with him. Thanks.

I'm 5'8" and have downsized from 17hh old horse to 14.3hh new. It's all about whether your leg feels in the right place. Mine does, and yours looks like it is too.
