In quick summary...

Horse hollowing regularly, will work in contact for length of time but then snatch down to stretch or at halt yank with head up and toss head up and down to avoid contact being taken up again.

Breaking regularly in left canter

Piggy and hollow in canter on both reins, really struggle to get her in any sort of contact even long and low.

On loose rein happy to go forward but still breaking in left canter.

Hacking - happy to hoon forward at 100mph

Jumping - happy to fly over jumps but often dramatically stretching down on landing.

Saddle just been checked
teeth just been checked
trotting up sound and on a circle

any thoughts?

Thanks

It could be back which may well be sore but I think it sounds more than just a minor tweak is required, I would want to look at hocks and SI as the canter issue sounds as if the horse is finding it difficult to engage properly and damage/ changes in these two places are the most likely cause, my horse with a SI injury was happy jumping and going in straight lines in canter but could not canter a decent circle to save his life being definitely piggy, disuniting and worse the more you tried, the head tossing in trot was also there but came from him being sore further back so his whole length was tight and tense.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply, hope yours is all fixed now

Vet been today and I wasn't imagining it - she isn't right but not horrifically lame either. Nerve blocked hock and its not that so going to work up the leg - process of elimination - as not glaringly obvious what is wrong
