I'm seriously considering purchasing a new Black Country saddle but before I take the plunge and arrange to try one, can you guys give me your thoughts or experience of them.

Thank you! :)

I have two; a quantum jumping saddle and a kur dressage saddle. Both are beautiful, very comfy and fit my hard to fit horse well. I would highly recommend them.

Love them. My gelding has quite a large shoulder so normal GPs were too forward cut for him. My saddler suggested a working hunter Black Country so I invested in a made to measure one. It is soo comfy. I've had it since November and had no problems at all with it. The quality of the leather is great too.

My old riding instructor loved them. I borrowed his jumping saddle a few times and it was really comfy. I assume they are still of the same quality.

I have just converted to one as well and I can highly recommend it. Leather is soft and supple and the knee rolls and seat have some sort of cushioning in them that makes them really comfortable!!

I had a monoflap XC which I loved, had to sell it eventually but would definitely consider another. Ring the office - the girls are lovely and made me a bespoke 25" girth when I needed one urgently (still have the girth, just not the saddle!).

I have a monoflap jumping saddle (the Venici). It is a really lovely saddle. I'm hanging onto it in the hope that 1 day I will have a horse it fits!!!

Bought a GP Event last september. Most comfortable saddle I've ever sat in. It was specially made to fit the beast. Great quality saddle. Would deffo reccommend and would purchase again. xx
