Ahh you clipped him - step away from the clippers - lol. Actually Eric's mane got in my way tonight even though it was plaited away - and shock clipping did enter my mind - but was quickly dispelled. Having had a Tb for 2 years, I am so enjoying the contrast. Makes me apprecite both of them so much.

I clipped Sailor mainly due to the fact he was still way to hairy for the heat back in July and i couldn't cope with the orange feathers I was facing with him we have very iron rich soil!
I am pondering letting the feathers and mane grow back out, but don't tell my YO or farrier

Sailor is gorgeous!

Fany will be clipped this year, being a true cold blood she grows a hugely thick coat, so thick that she got too hot and rubbed herself raw last winter. See below!

Haha that top photo of Fany reminds me of a little persian cat all curled up and happy. Sooooo cute and cuddly. You could stuff a mattress with that coat if it was clipped off - and have enough left for a pillow too!
