What is hijacking? I have just done it without realiseing
blush.gif

Someone was asking about search for a star. I asked what it was. Someone mentioned trailblazers. I asked what that was. I did not realise i was hijacking - never heard of it

Anyway no-one answered so i asked if i was on user ignore.

I got an answer along with being told i was hijacking. Can i just apologise if i have done it before.

Can someone who has not got me on user ignore also explain search for a star and trailblazers. On the other thread i was given an idea but being thick i need more detail. I daren't ask on the thread again

It was put politely by the way

Hijacking is when someone has posted a thread, asking one question, and someone else comes to the post asking many of their own questions.

Search for a star is a series designed to allow "every day" riders the chance to get to HOYs.

Trailblazers is an unaffiliated series of dressage, showjumping and showing combining first and 2nd round qualification to get to a national final.

In all fairness, hi-jacking of threads happen all the time! Considering you were asking what the the competitions that were being discussed entailed they should have had the courtsey to reply politely.

Silver_Florin I'm sorry but I don't think you were hijacking at all you were just asking for information as I would if I didn't undertand anything in a post .

Sorry but I can't see what you was doing wrong.

ooo thankyou all. I was genuinly worried there, stupid me
blush.gif

I couldn't work out what i had done wrong. I often ask questions if i don't understand and i was genuinly interested in what it was. I put a note to self to stop asking questions

Noo. Always ask questions if you are not sure of something. F*ck the miseries who complain of 'hijacking' how bloody rude of them. How you s'posed to learn things if you don't ask?

Im a real every day rider who got to HOYS with Search For A Star

I have no school,no instructor or producer and did it on a horse i bought as a foal who promptly got grass sickness
crazy.gif
couldnt be broken until 6 as so weak, took 2 years getting him to travel and finally SFAS when he was 13
laugh.gif

Mind you i stuck out as a billy-no-mates in the collecting ring as i only had my OH and everyone else had coachloads of "helpers"

What a fantastic story. Well done you. All the previous years must have made it an even bigger achievemant. Recovering from grass sickness also, not many do. What a lovely story.

I do take back my inverted commas around every day riders Land_Girl, I was merely speculating on what I have heard and with no personal experience that isn't really fair. Getting to HOYS has to be every horsey persons dream so a huge congrats to you, you're horse above looks stunning.

Thats ok i was only being

Its just that if normal people dont have a go then its all left to the professionals and its nice to make them feel nervous once in a while
wink.gif

Yes harvgi19 i still have him
grin.gif
i will never ever sell him, he is my horse in a lifetime and although 16 now with a dodgy check ligament and ringbone so no more showing but he is still loving hacking and the odd days hunting
