I cannot believe my luck. Where to start?
In order to get some sort of bond/routine going I have him in at night and out in the day. He is a sweetheart in the stable and has lovely manners. Even though his routine is slightly different to others (DIY yard) no kicking or banging on the stable door.
He whinnies gently when I arrive in the morning. He leads out down to the paddock like a lamb.
He shares his field with a lovely mare called Mollie who is desparately in season and he just blows in her ear and carries on grazing. He doesnt mind if she is taken out and he is alone.
I have lunged over trot poles and jumps (school is too small for him really)
I have ridden in huge field walk, trot and canter. I have been in galloping field and had brakes in a snaffle I have hacked out in Company front or back cantered in the woods in company had brakes.
He is forward going but not manic. This guy is 7 15.3 and Irish Cob with paces to die for.
Where did I go wrong my last horse was stressy in the stable /tied up on yard kicked the hoofpick out of your hand jumped out of the field and reared and bucked in hand when being turned out and bucked me off at every opportunity.

So when will it all go wrong.
