I maintain my previous stance on the subject. If one is new to a forum and would like to introduce oneself, one is nice as in "hi! my name is (insert choice of name). I have 0/1/2/3/4/5/6 (delete as appropriate) horses and...etc etc.

Not ello *rubs hands on thighs* and calls someone a pikey.

I still have some icecream left if anyone wants some......not for long though

These people are stupid and annoying. We all like a laugh, but calling people 'pikeys' and obviously trying to insinuate female riders 'get off' by riding is pretty disgusting. That seems to, rather sadly, be the whole point of you having started this post.

Wilboursmith - your post was very easy to read the wrong way. Understandably people are defensive of the dynamic of this forum as it is a great place to be and when a post can be read as rude it is fair enough that people become a little hostile

I'm with Bumper on this one. It just gets on my tits quite frankly. These people probably don't know one end of a horse from the other and seem to be full crap.

actullay i have had hores all my life i have ridden them and bred them and probably have more experience than 99% of people on this forum

Donkey12 - many of the people on this forum have ridden since they could walk, others are newbies and there are plenty in between - all are welcome providing they are not intent on causing offence.

Over all mostly there is a nice bunch on here, most of which would be happy to offer any advice they could if approached nicely. shame you riled people to quickly for you to see that. <shrugs> Oh well
