omg, i have been amazed that something so simple can cure thrush so quickly. HONEY. my friend was told to put honey in her welsh d's feet, he had relly bad thrush, with sheared heels. been having treatment from the vet for weeks. an old farrier told her to put thick/set honey on it. 3 days later, and its gone, completely. its a bit messy to do, but wow. im sooooo impressed. aparently its great for infected woulds or mud fever scabs ect. fantastic. so i thought i would share this with you all.

Sounds great - what did she use to keep it in place?

My youngster has it and I've been using hibiscrub and purple spray as I think peroxide is a bit harsh on baby feet

Honey is a natural antiseptic, you can use it for any cuts, grazes and minor infections - bit sticky mind you. Natural stuff is best rather than the pasteurised stuff from the supermarket.

Thought it was Manuka Honey that is antibac?

That's the best, but any will do if it is not processed - especially in an emergency or to slap on horses feet, since Manuka isn't cheap.
