I know this topic has probably been done to death(!) but just after some advice. My boy has been barefoot a year now and has always struggled with thrushy feet if I don't put his field paste or something on everyday. It's easier to keep on top of in the winter when he's stabled at night as the feet get a chance to dry out, but now he is living out (due to injury he is chilling in the field) and his feet get damp from the dewy grass he's coming in with smelly feet and his central sulcas has started to crack again! We just got rid of the split last year after battling for months so really don't want it to worsen again!
The field he is out in doesn't have very good grass, it is very hay like and rough. He gets fed once a day for his supplements having half scoop hifi mollasses free, with scoop equinatural forage and mineral balancer supp, yea sacc, turmeric/oil/pepper.
Anything else I can change besides getting him off the grass? This is not really possible at the moment, or is it just a case of applying the field paste everyday?! I'm going through so much of it atm and it definitely says apply once a week to keep thrush away but that would not be enough for him how he is now
