My horse has a circular (about 10p sized), bald, very slightly raised, area under his mane, just where his whorl is. Its been there about 18 months and hasnt caused trouble, except for being unsightly when his mane is pulled really short. I asked the vet to take a look when he was out last week and he thought it was a sarcoid. Ive read about thuja working and wondered if anyone has any experiences (good or bad). I've used Liverpool cream for other sarcoids on the sheath area on this horse a couple of years ago, but those were a different type (stalk-like ones). I dont think its worth paying for Liverpool cream again for this small one and wondered if anything else could pursuade the patch to disappear.
