Ordered 2 rugs from their sale leaflet yesterday at 8.00am. Had option of delivery timescale and chose the £5.95 and was quoted 5-7 days.

Well....Yodel arrived at 9.30 this morning with them. Checked that they are the right sizes, etc, but not tried on yet.

What good service, will def use them again if this is anything to go by!
 
hate robinsons...they threw away my £110 dublin boots and didnt get a refund, replacement or apology. now 2 months on noone from customer service or the regional manager is acknowledging my emails and phone calls. despise them.
 
Always found Robinsons good, and not had any issues with Yodel to date either. I managed to stop myself buying from their sale:rolleyes:
 
Mixed experiences with Robinsons.
Staff have always been helpful, sale items can be real bargains BUT I was flipping furious when one of their more recent sales was advertised to start at 8am (instore AND online) so I set the alarm, got up, logged on well before 8am, only to find things up & running, & the rug I wanted already sold out. Was not a happy bunny. (If anyone has a 6'6 Rambo Optimo / Duo for sale PM me please ? :) )

PS. A friend of mine is a Yodel delivery driver. He is polite conciencious, & has an excellent work ethic.

I love Robinsons! I almost always go there for stuff. However one thing that annoys me is that the grooming kit that I've been after for months is almost constantly sold out! :O Oh well, I'm sure I'll get it some day! :)

was it basingstoke branch? have you emailed the store manager? I emailed the big boss with a clipper repair issue and she came back to me, and I managed to get a good result!
 
This Yodel driver is a regular drivers for them, so once he's delivered to you once, he puts it in his little book. Especially as the postcode directsyou straight past our driveway.

Facebook and twitter, tag them and give them hell! Public humiliation always puts a rocket up their bottom!
 
I love Robinsons too, great prices, good range of products, excellent customer service and usually speedy delivery (waiting for a parcel now!) however, I HATE Yodel! Several times they have failed to deliver to me usually from Amazon and seem to make no attempt to get your parcel to you. Last time I ordered over £100 of important text books, Yodel made no effort to deliver, I arranged to be home all day and they never arrived or rang the door bell anyway and never even provided me with a card through the door despite claiming that they had tried, the order ended up being returned by them and I got a refund which was not what I wanted! So annoying!

I caught them in the act doing this and scurried to open my front door just as the guy was going out the gate, gave him a right mouthful for being so bloody lazy and rude and not even knocking on the door! The guy was mortified :D
 
I have to say I was hugely impressed with Robinsons when I ordered some long boots and a wither pad from them a few weeks ago. They tried to call me and when didn't get an answer emailed me to say they didn't have the pad I'd ordered but had the adjustable one which I could have for the same price and that my boots wouldn't be there until Monday (had ordered Wednesday for next day delivery). When the boots arrived they then refunded some of the next day delivery money without being asked - very impressive :)
 
I ordered a pair of size 20 denim riding trousers in the sales and even though I'm comfortable in size 18 they didn't even come up to my waist:mad:
