TIA - FANCY DRESS - ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY GOT ON?

Those of you that read the post from Tia about fancy dress, that gorgeous palamino! anyone know how thay got on? would be great to see some pictures. I would really like to enter my step daughter this weekend but working full time doesn't give me any time for buying stuff and creative flare. Anyone got any quick "on the day" ideas for fancy dress? we too have a palamino, but he is not fully trained so she would be in hand with him.

LOL!! She came 6th in a class of about 30; so did rather well. The costume didn't look as good as I was expecting but I'll download some photos for you to see it.

A bee on a horse with a green sweat rug with lots of flowers pinned onto it - that one came 1st....however a lot of people complained about the judging as most of the riders went to the box at the stables (which has tonnes and tonnes of dressing up stuff that is rattled out every year - they do nothing but place outfit on horse and rider). There was only probably about 2 or 3 people who had made their own outfits and they weren't really "made" - just cowboys and indians...you know, the usual LOL!!
 
Well done, it does bug me when you try to make an effort and some just comes along in a bought outfit and bets you. I have been doing fancy dress this year with my kids if you want to see our outfits i have put some photos up in picture gallery.
