What is the best way to remove them?

Or cover them with a deet based fly repellant

wouldn't try and pull them out, my OH stil has about 3 tick heads in his skin

Vaseline thing can work too

or anything that will suffocate them. Don't try and burn them off either, where would you go if someone shoved something hot on your arse - thats right, forwards!!!

get a tick remover from vets then a good bath in an insectisidal horse shampoo!
