Ticks

Hi I am after some advice if you can help me.

My dad takes my dog out for walks through big country fields. I just found a tick under my dog's armpit shall I say, I have managed to remove it all but there is quite marked swelling there about the size of a 10p. Do I need to take him to the vet tomorrow? Or just keep an eye on the area.

I usually use a flea collar on him but am off to get some spot on flea and tick stuff tomorrow for him.

Advocate works best. Some people are saying frontline no longer wholly effective I would review area in AM and if worse ring vet. Have you defo got head out? How did you remove it?

Mine get them almost daily as we have deer round here but with advocate they drop off <24hrs but have developed a knack for gettin them off.

Yes the whole thing came out head and all with tweezers
