Tic's - A reminder to look out for them

Hi All,
Just thought I would post a reminder to keep looking out for tic's on your horses legs this summer. The hot weather means that there are more around this year. I found 5 on my horses legs last night, after slapping vaseline over them, they dropped off as they can't breath.
Hope this is a good reminder for you all.

I have spotted some too lately, had to put sudocrem on it as this was all I had to hand, seemed to work though

God tell me about it my new little must have 'special tick attracting blood' as she is picking them up left right and centre she reacts to them badly and they become huge imflamed lumps that develop to crusty scabs i feel so sorry for her.......ive tried everything from sudocreme, vaseline to various potions!!
