Dave's been away for Bootcamp & schooling for 3 weeks & for the last week, I have been riding him in prep for him coming home.
Today we did a huge first & jumped from canter!
I know it's not huge for most, but after a bad fall a couple of months ago (concussion & a very sore back) this was absolutely huge for me & I'm still grinning.
I would massively recommend that if you're struggling with confidence, or just a bit stuck in what you're doing, that finding a reputable & kind person to do some work with your pony & then both of you together is a really good thing to do. It's been an absolute Hallelujah week for me. I have new techniques, new ways of thinking & a new plan.
The future is bright, the future is Fuzzy!

Wooohooo! Fuzzies are the best!
And don't ever feel the need to belittle your achievements!
Especially ones that involve confidence, it is a tricky thing so a huge well done ?

Amazing, well done! Fellow tiddly jumper here. I personally think jumping small is great. You can still work on so much whilst keeping it within your comfort zone. We’ve done skinnies and tiny oxers and done some really challenging lines linking them up like dog leg etc.
