So I'm off eventing in a couple of weeks. It's only 70 cms but I normally do showing so looking the part means a lot to me ;-)
I understand tweed is more correct for low level eventing but should I wear I tie or a stock with it? And if it's a stock should I wear my green and yellow one or my cream one (normally worn with my navy jacket) or could I even get away with my american collar?
Mostly I just don't want the dressage judge to take an instant dislike to us because we're dressed wrong and mark us harshly as a result. (Yes, I know how ridiculous this sounds!)

I'd be inclined to say the green and yellow stock (providing it goes well with the tweed). I believe this is more correct than wearing cream/white with tweed and personally I think a well tied stock looks smarter than a tie. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I always use stock with tweed. I have a green one with gold spots that I use for eventing as goes with my green tweed (horse's colours are green too)

Stock with tweed :) mine is burgandy with gold spots to match the check in my jacket. Us eventers like looking posh too haha :p

Kassieg, I know we all like looking pretty on our ponies!
Green & yellow stick with green tweed it is. Thanks all.
