Tigger01 - has your siamese come back ?

Hi Cobden

No nothing yet I'm afraid. We had a possible sighting at 9am this morning so rushed off in the car but 4 miles away and I'm not sure she'd go that far. Seems like a long way when she isnt really a hunter/roamer. Have got posters, flyers made up. Local shop and garage have been notified, and neighbours. Will keep looking - I have to find her. Any other ideas who to contact? Have done the RSPCA, local animal shelters and am about to register her on line at national pet register.

Thanks everyone again for your help.

Have been thinking about you and thought of something. Did any one visit you or did someone deliver something about the time your cat disappeared? Your cat could have jumped in the car/van and unknown to the driver jumped out at their next drop off or home. We think one of our cats did this as they disappeared for a few days and came back very tired after a few days. It coincided with a delivery so we think he jumped out of the van at the next stop. You have probably thought of this but thought I would mention.

I agree with jane2, cats sometimes do jump into a van or car for a nosey. One of my cats some years ago did this we suspect because a house was being renovated near to us.

Have you tried every local (ish) vet? And you could try environmental health, in no way do I mean to be upsetting but they sometimes keep lists of animals collected from roadsides.

I really hope you find her, there is nothing worse than not knowing.

Hi All

I know exactly what time she went missing - between 5am and 6.50am so nothing around then I'm afraid. My hubbie is a radio presenter so he's going to put something out tomorrow on air - as he says, if you can, take advantage of it. I really hope this works cos so lost without her. Thanks everyone for your concern. I even rang the police tonight to report her missing - but perhaps wasnt a good idea after 2 glasses of wine!!! lol
