eventer had 3 treatments of tildren via drip, v expensive but it was covered by insurance. Worked, sound horse, but not for a spavin. The only side effect was an increase in wee in the next 24hrs, literally flooded the bed!
No side effects and horse moves better than ever. It is expensive but can go through insurance.
We had him treated for a yr and now he just has a joint supplement (riaflex) and seems fine.
my girl is about to have her second tildren for spavin. hers is done via drip. huge improvement in her movement, flowing a lot more, her paces are a lot smoother. she is on a joint supplement (synequin) too. hers is through insurance but think it was about £500 a go and we were recommended to have three, one then one a six months then one at a year.
My girlie had a drip of Tildren about 6/7 weeks ago - she is now 100% sound. She had previously had 2 hock inj with no noticeable effect. The usual way to administer Tildren is an IV drip run in over about 30 mins. It cost about £350 if I remember rightly without getting my insurance file out - thank god for insurance!!!! One thing I will say, is that my (black) mare has gone bright ginger where the drip went in and where the stitches went to hold it in place! I have no idea why!
Hope that helps x
