dunno anything about it helping navicular. it's not licensed in the UK, but is in Europe. Currently it is being trialled in the UK for hock spavin and I have seen some encouraging results.
 
Have heard of it - for treatment of bone spavin and navicular. Think that there are possible side effects of colic. Horse has to be monitored carefully after treatment. Have heard some very positive praise of it.
 
yep - it's given IV in a 500ml bag of saline run in over 30mins and the horse is then closely observed for signs of colic over the next 4 hours.
 
there was an article about it in "Your Horse" about a year ago..in relation to navicular....at that time licensed for use in france and Italy. it said it was given intravenously by injection, once a day for 10 days. it gave a web site address...www.ceva.com my vet didn't think it would help and we didn't pursue futher.
