In relation to your question .. When I met him at the Renault Jump he seemed a lovely man and he is undoubtedly talented

He's a lovely guy, a great trainer, very dedicated to the sport and also to his family. I have known him for the last 20 + years and I am so pleased he is doing so well. He has had to work very hard to get where he is today and that is all through his own true grit and determination.

I met him when Traxdata were sponsoring him, Peter Charles & another guy, but cant for the life of me remember which one. I also met him when he took his little lad to MKEC for a family show. He knows his job & deserves his sucess. Veronica who is his head groom used to clip my horses when she worked for Tim Price. She would not be with him if he was anything but a straight speaking person.

I used to know him quite well, and i have to say that he really deserves to be where he is today as he has worked really hard to get there.

Great guy and extremely talented in every aspect of what he does! Although I had a bit of an embarrassing moment at my yard the othe week where I found out that I don't know as much about the man himself as I thought.......

I turn up to fetch in my daughters pony from the field before he explodes... when out of a stable wanders casually...you guessed it none other than Tim bloody Stockdale!! So off I go all starstruck like a jibbering teen'.

As I'm talking to him,(mainly about the weather) I realise he has dentist kit with him...so then I start getting really confused..ok i think, he looks and sounds like him but it cant be...Tim Stockdale doesnt do horse dentistry on the side???

Anyway off he toddles. My head is spinning by now, totally confused.. turns out its his twin brother!! Luckily one of the girls told me 'cus he said he was gonna wind me up and ask me who this Tim guy was! and off I'd have gone listing his top gazzillion results in true geek fashion!!
