Hi,

My horse had Tildren just over a week ago. Although sound he is still pointing and I'm using this as a barometer of success of the various treatments he's had.

My query really is, how long does Tildren take to have any effect? Should the pointing be less by now or is it still too soon?

Thanks in advance :)

My lad had had two lots of tildren, he was 3/10 lame back in June and had injection into the hock along with Cortaflex supplement, he has been having regular physio and mctimoney along with treatment of a tens machine and massage as the arthritis in his hock was making him stiff around his si area from compensating. His last lot was about 4 weeks ago and has shown some good signs of improvement, was this the tildren or a combination of things it's difficult to tell but after the first lot I have to say there was not a lot of change. I think what I've learnt is everything takes it's time and with good care, along with both conventional and holistic treatments it all takes time. X

I thought it could take up to a fortnight to work effectively.
Here is an excellent website about Tildren with the factsheet.
