I'm hoping you can all make me feel a bit better with your nursemaid to rider ratios...have been having a bit of a bad run with poorly horses...surely some people get to ride at some point right?

One retired so full time carer for him.

The other has timed injuries perfectly. I have to travel for work, I was away for a week, came back for 2 weeks, sicknote injured himself on day 2. Stitches will come out and work will commence just in time for me to fly out on another trip. So 100% of available time.

I have just come out the other side after 2 years of being more nurse than rider. Torn ddft in both front feet, abscesses, lymphangitis, multiple allergies... we are currently 4 months incident free, the horse is sound and I have tentatively started canter work... However i am finding it hard not to worry and look for trouble!
