I was just looking through some pics taken the other day, saw this one of Beau, normal looking horse I would say:

Then next came this one and it just made me think, OMG, how big is he!!

I last measured him about 4 months ago and he was 17.3hh,and im pretty sure he must have grown again!

Lance is a big 16.2hh and I dont look that tiny compared to him!

Wondering when Beau is going to stop growing!
Care to place bets on how tall he is now!

He has already gone up from a medium to an extra extra wide in saddle fittings since I got him!

I knew he had filled out a bit more but OMG!

He looked much smaller than the 17.2hh he was when we got him because he was so poor, but am wondering if this growing will ever stop LOL.

He is looking quite a simliar height to one of the horses (big T)at my yard, not quite as huge but getting there. Big T is 18.3hh and is huge. I can't brush his mane without getting a step and thats him holding his head quite low!
However he is the biggest pansy ever and is so gentle. A total big friendly giant!
 
He's really nicely proportioned for a large horse...very handsome. Looks a bit like my friends Dutch Warmblood in type...but he's only 16.3 ish

LOL thank you yes please! Ive tried leaving him out in the rain but it seems to be helping him grow not shrink!
He is Belgian WB x ISH...I dread to think how big he would be if he hadnt had the bad start he had, doesnt seem to have stumped his growth!

Lol i don't think its helped by the angle of the photo. You are the furthest away from the camera therefore you'll look smaller than you actually are. If you were standing by his shoulder and nearest the camera he probably would not look so big!

I think you're probably too late to do any growth stunting....if you pop him in the post, then, my Mum will reduce him to a matted Sheltie in a couple of hot washes

Sounds good to me! Its a good thing he is in proportion, OH said he hopes he keeps growing, but thats ok from someone who makes him look like a pony!
