Time waster rant

sorry I need to rant

I have been looking for some horses over the past few months, I can not understand why people waste your time.

first horse I waited over two hours for the owner to drive 19 miles to the yard, she was very rude when she got there, when I said we would have him, she went on to say we would be charged livery if we did not pick him up within a week !!!!


I phoned up about another one, I asked the women if she could send me some more photos of her, as it was a very bad photo. She said she would I waited two days and phoned her. only to be told someone was coming to see her in a hours time. Dispite the fact that I was going to see the pony at the weekend.


I waited six weeks for one breeder to sort out the passport


and the last one oh what a joy

the guy just lied and lied. He told me he breed the pony had it gelded it was half brother to another one he had.

when after a phone call to the old owner on the passport I found out that he swapped the ponies with this dealer


out of the nine I have got all of the ones that have come from breeders or dealers, have wasted my time, on the plus side the ones that have come from private homes have been fantastic

Lordy, thats not good, I dont envy you. Your dream horse will be out there somewhere!

What colour,size,breed etc are you after?

My friends bound to have what you need, if not we can easily paint it the colour you want! lol

I often see/hear complaints about buyers being timewasters but sellers certainly can be too. When I was looking for my mare, I had people who never bothered to call me back, who told me the horse had been sold over a week prior but they'd never bothered taking the ad down, one called me when I was almost at her place to view (by appointment) to tell me she'd have to cancel - I'd been driving for close to 2 hours and the reason given was NOT an emergency.

I hate horse shopping!
