I'm about to blow today I could honestly sit weeping. This weekend has been a nightmare as we've been preparing the house to be valued today OH has been stressed, I've been stressed and tired and am trying to organise 1000 things at a time, my head is buzzing and I haven''t eaten anything decent since friday.

So lady rings to see Ryu sounds great trainer who has him on sales livery arranges it for this afternoon, woman checks distance and requests photos ect and vids, I posted the vids they are cr*p but I had one slot to get anything and had to use my digital camera, I had to come into work on Saturday to email them and the pics off my computer, on top of all the house stuff horse is scrubbed to within an inch of his life yesterday all tack pulled apart and cleaned, trainer tells her boss at showing yard she has the dentist so has afternoon off unpaid to do this viewing, I'm sat at home, 1am this morning writing a list of tack I will sell as lady has requested between frantic hoovering and grouting.

Then 15 minutes before shes supposed to arrive lady calls and cancels

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have my deepest sympathy! I have had exactly the same with Danny for every single caller before christmas. We haven't had one person look at him yet.

Selling is a nightmare at the moment.

Cripes, I don't believe it. I had this horse six weeks and when we went we had to fight to let the woman sell him to us and not the other two or three people who wanted him, one lot of whom had first refusal and we had second - I had to resort to nigh on bunny boiling.

Now of course he has a pus foot, ah well, he's still lovely!

I sympathise (((HUG))) poor you. Have a drink tonight, or a joint? Or perhaps just a decent meal of some sort.

I wish you good luck. People just don't think do they?

At least she had the decency to phone.
You'll find most people just dont bother turning up. Classic on with the horse I'm trying to sell currently- people came to see him, liked him, made appointment to come back with their trainer the next day at 2pm. Never showed up, no phone call, nothing

We are having the same problem but the other way round. Went to see one tonight that had a "Thoroughpin" which "appeared years ago in it and has never been a problem" and when we got there I have never seem such a massive hock, it even still has the scab on it down the back from the injury it has had, there was fluidy swellings surrounding the whole joint, inside, outside and front - the heat in it was better than any hot water bottle you could ever wish for! The owner said she hadnt noticed any heat and when I said feel for yourself she said she would take my word for it! Do people think that everybody are numpties and would not notice this? Good job it was local, mind you I wont travel far to see one now.
