What is it with some sellers? I've now had the past three weekends wasted in trying to buy a pony. A friend has asked me to find her daughter a pony, and in the past few weeks I've turned up to view to find the pony already tacked up, and they didn't want to do it again in front of me - why? I soon found out why, when I insisted I wanted to see it tacked up. Then the next one I went to view had a swollen tendon, it trotted up lame and when I remarked on it to the owner, she agreed and said it had been like it the previous day! Then today, I'm on the way with my horsebox as todays viewing seemed like the ideal pony and my junior jockey was with me, to get a phone call from the owners saying they'd changed their minds and had decided not to sell! I make sure I give my contact numbers over to sellers and ask if there is a problem before I come to view, just let me know, so why do they waste all our time? So, if anyone has a genuine sound, good tempered pony suitable for a first or second pony, at a very realistic price but a fantastic home assured, then do PM me. My friends daughter is getting desperate and had hoped to have her pony to get to know over the school holidays. We are searching within a radius of 50 miles of Newmarket, Suffolk.
