shocked.gif
i understand that peoples circumstances change but a phone call is much apreciated
wink.gif
Does anyone else have any stories or views.

Yep! I had 2 people in one weekend who didnt bother to turn up. One person who rode my horse, hacked him up the road, etc etc, and then said he felt too different to her show cob!! WTF!? Does he LOOK like he would ride like a cob!?!

can i ask to have a rant about timewasters myself but the other way round??? and this is not directed at anyone on here just to clear that up and is now irrelevant as i have my new boy more or less
laugh.gif

but yeah sellers, i viewed a mare really liked her, hacked her out, etc said id call before the end of the day with some sort of answer, called said id like to make a conditional offer on vetting, she said thats fine, i have someone else coming to view again today but i will call you as soon as they go to let you know the situation....did she call?...no...this was 3 weeks ago and she has ignored any attempts ive made to get in contact hmmph

lol but all doesnt matter now, Teddy is hopefully going to pass the vetting oh and KatB your horsey is stunning and does not look liek a show cob lol silly people xx

Hi pixxie hope he passes the vet

and you have alot of fun together lol And very sorry for your experience.I had some one go through with the vetting vacinations started and then to phone up and say sorry i,ve changed my mined when you have turned away potential buyers. And same as you but the other way round another person last month came out i asked her to phone just to let me know oneway or the other and nothing
confused.gif
and again today some one was coming out this morning did'nt bother to turn up
mad.gif
not a phone call my time wasted yet again!!

Tell me about it, in my case its house selling. You spend ages tidying up, no one is allowed to do anything in case they make a mess, when the people turn up they dont seem to have even read the details eg, o'h its got stables and a field, we wouldnt want all that, we just want a large garden' grr, why the hell come and look at a house marketed as an equestrian property with stables and fields then!

Weather its buying or selling its a nightmare!! I've had experience of both in recent years and am now looking to buy again. I must be mad!! Manners seem to go out the window and it can be sooooo frustrating.

Just as bad with horseboxes too! I have mine for sale, lovely lorry, I just need something smaller. Had a viewing on Sunday, they called Sunday night to say that they wanted it and would call Monday to get bank details to bacs over deposit and would collect this weekend. Never heard anything till Tuesday when received a text saying "decided to keep trailer". Then had someone want to view yesterday, said they would be with me at 8.15pm, waited and waited, called, waited till 9.15, called again still no answer and they never showed up, and havent received a call or text to say what happened or where they were! So annoying!!!!!

Oh timewasters.. GRR!
Selling my little pony we had numerous people just come for the ride and didnt ring with an answer/ didnt turn up and then didnt ring saying sorry and just people who had no clue what so ever!
The other thing is my pony failed the vet because he had a breathing problem due to the stuff being sprayed on the crops- the vet told the person this and they never rang us to say oh very sorry, they told our vet to tell us, i mean come on he was fine in 2 days they talked about him as if he had 3 legs!

blooming timewasters! i think we all get them!

I waited in all day for someone and they didn't turn up, had someone else come see my 6 year old TB she came twice then rang up 2 days later and said i don't want a TB and i don't want a 6 year old! How annoying

I wouldn't really call that a timewaster as such - yes it's annoying, but she probably thought she wanted a TB, but having tried yours, maybe she realised it wasn't what she was after or it was too much horse for her or whatever - not really timewasting I don't think.

I went to see a pony last year and as soon as I saw it I knew it wasn't my 'type'. I did see it ridden, but then told the seller it wasn't what I was looking for. Was I timewasting? I don't think so. If I had ridden it and gushed over it etc then perhaps, but I was saving the seller's time by not riding it and viewing it further.

Yeah but she said she couldn't fault him in any way but she doesn't like TBs cause she use to have one but had bad experience with it

Ah well, in that case then, yes she was a timewaster if she knew already that she didn't like TBs

i had some similar experiences when i sold my pony.
one mother asked if she could have it for the weekend to see if it would get on with the other ponies at school!!!!( which she had never met)
mmmmmmmm, now let me think! that would be a no then.

another lady rode it for 10 minutes said yes i want it,raved about her, then phoned in the evening to say had changed her mind and wanted something bigger.

however, buying has its traumas too. i went to see a 6 year old NF about 3 years ago, not same pony as in pic, reared, tried to bold, kicked.....all the important questions that i had asked. not an honest seller obviously.
oh the joys, yet we still do it!
