Any ideas/suggestions etc welcome !!!!!!
SSM has finally ribbed me into going hunting with her next Sat (03.03.07) at a blood hound (optional jump - thank god!!) meet with the Reddifield. Any tips on what to do, amount of valium required before... whether to get pis**d b4 hand, body protector, what to wear, boots on neddy or not, plaited up? I am sooooo nervous, but can't wait... please let me know the etiquette. (ru

Ok, bloodounds are very friendly and will look after you, HOWEVER it will be quick and there is alot to jump!!

I boot horse up like I would XC, as only out for 2/3 hrs and good going generally. No overreach boots as you may loose them! Tweed jacket and unplaited, or black jacket and plaited is correct, although again the RB are very relaxed! I normally go in tweed and unplaited!! BP is completely your choice. Good gloves are a must! Most of all, enjoy it, the horses certainly will, and they are lovely.
