Tips for a stiff, underworked Andalusian

He also has a newer one, "Collection or Contortion", and much of what he talks about in training is based on the H.Dv12 German cavalry equitation manual, which is available in English (after a fashion). He's also doing clinics at Derby College this year, which you can get spectator tickets to.

Not that I'm his stalker or anything.

Is his newer book worth reading as well ?

He's always worth reading, and poses some very good questions and things that need saying about modern dressage and training, but I don't agree with everything he says, always. Didn't he and Phillipe Karl have some sort of massive falling out a few years ago?

Pretty much exactly what Cortez said - he's always worth reading (and seeing him train if you can). He's an interesting chap and I've got a lot out of watching and training with him, particularly with one of mine, but there are always some things it's best to let wash over you (or perhaps, simply aren't the right thing at the right time for you or your horse, or just aren't hugely helpful in that context).

Yep, definitely history between him and PK!
