Hi guys,

I posted a few days ago about what to expect with my new greyhound...well she's at home and lovely but now I have some questions!
Basically, she is settling in fine but is very attached to me and my OH - she follows us around the house but I try to stop her. She is whining less at night and I have built up the time I leave her and she seems ok but now I have to go back to work so she will be left for longer.
~Anyway, my main problem is that she has diarrhoea, I think because she managed to get into a box of muesli! She is unable to get through the night or the four hours she will be left so any tips for protecting my floors and what can I feed her to help harden it all up?

My first greyhound had rotten diarrhoea when she came home with us, so I put her on a diet of chicken, rice & boiled eggs for a fortnight and things soon settled, now she can ( & will) eat anything!

Handy tip - I bought cheap chicken from tesco and cooked it whole overnight in a slow cooker. An average sized chicken would last her about four days.
