Tips for selling my horse?

Sadly, due to family circumstances, I am going to have to sell my horse (along with all my kit, 4x4, trailer etc) and hang up my boots. It's years since I last sold a horse (they tend to stay with me a long time and then get put out on loan as hacks or PTS) and I am way out of touch with the best way of advertising, and what to expect or ask for as in deposits, time scale etc. So I'd really appreciate any tips from the experts! I also don't have a clue what to ask for him price wise, I know we're not allowed to do "how much" on here but if anyone has any experience of selling quality PC event/show jumpers can give me some pointers please PM me. I would imagine that you need some really good photos, especially showing the kinds of things you say in the ad, e.g. if he is a good SJ horse you need at least one really good photo over jumps. There is nothing more off-putting for me than a claim that is immediately contradicted by the photo, e.g. great dressage horse claim with a photo of a horse behind the vertical and not tracking up. If you can include a relevant video that is also great, e.g. a hacking horse shown out in traffic and cantering in a field.

You also need an informative but short account of his good points and bad points, something like:

size, breed/type, shape, suitable for activity/type of rider. Has done X, Y, Z adn competition record if applicable. Good to hack, alone/company, in traffic, in open spaces, snaffle mouth, good with farrier, load/box. Any ifs or buts. X years in current home, sad sale.

If anyone is interested subject to vetting you can ask for a deposit that covers your re-advertising costs, but keep a record of all other people who might call in the meanwhile just in case.
