Tips on masking Electrolytes

As the title says. Trying to get my two horses to eat electrolytes is proving impossible. Any advice on masking it in their feed? I currently put it in a handful of chaff and a mug of apple juice.

Whenever feeding our horses yucky powder, in most cases medicine, we always used to whip up a cheeky treacle sandwich for them. They all seemed to love it and it was gone before they could even notice the medicine inside.

I know some people are against feeding horses bread but the odd slice never hurt our lot. Just use one slice, slather some treacle on, put the powder in the middle and fold it over.

Buy applelites they taste of apple my fussy boy eats them a treat x

we use the farnham ones that smell of cherry, and the boys are both happy to drink them up!

I use liquid electrolytes and syringe them. I might try the applelites too!
