Tips on washing v v hairy legs in this chilly weather

Please could you give me some tips on how you wash legs, and tails for that matter, in this weather

. Obviously no real problems in the summer but how do I get them dry quicker in winter??
She is very hairy but we have a competition in 3 weeks time and I really can't let her go with four black/brown legs instead of 2 black and 2 white ones

Wash a norm and towel dry ?

After towel drying I use the Thermatex stable wraps, hopefully they help to dry quicker and keep them warm!

Wash with warm water and then hair dryer them (obviously on a warm setting), that’s what we use to do with our traditional.

In all seriousness give a good towel dry and make sure she has a nice deep bed

Second the hair dryer, but we also use a wet vac, to take the worst of the water off (now ducks and waits for reprimand!!! We vacuum them anyway!!! we do have special brushes)

i just get in the bath like normal... i mean, i do get through more shower gel than usual now i don't shave... but, really, you don't have to treat them any differently than you do in the summer.

Not sure she'd stand for a hairdryer, she's a bit of a wuss sometimes

, but might be worth a try if it's still freezing cold. Otherwise think I will just use warm water and a big deep bed. Will look at how much the wraps are too tho.

I would give her a wash as normal, or with warm water and then take her for a hack somewhere on roads, or lunge/ride in a school if yours isn't one that'll make her dirty again? Could always bandage then lunge to keep them warm and dry them off. Think making her dry her legs herself this way will be quicker

In the past when I have washed Doll's legs, I bandage them and use straw under the bandage.
