I'm trying to get my horse to move over to Forageplus from Baileys Performance Balancer. He's not very keen! He's having it with Dengie Meadow Grass, Speedibeet and some linseed (and some other supplements) but at the moment the only way I can get him to eat it is if I chuck some of his old balancer in, which kind of defeats the point really!
Does anyone have any suggestions for tasty things I can add to make him eat it? I was thinking of trying mint but other ideas are very welcome. I don't live in an area where it's easy to get hold of anything like Agrobs though.
I've got a full bag to get through but if I really can't get him to eat it are there any good options that are more palatable? Alternatively is the Baileys really that bad from a healthy hooves point of view??
