I'm trying to get my horse to move over to Forageplus from Baileys Performance Balancer. He's not very keen! He's having it with Dengie Meadow Grass, Speedibeet and some linseed (and some other supplements) but at the moment the only way I can get him to eat it is if I chuck some of his old balancer in, which kind of defeats the point really!

Does anyone have any suggestions for tasty things I can add to make him eat it? I was thinking of trying mint but other ideas are very welcome. I don't live in an area where it's easy to get hold of anything like Agrobs though.

I've got a full bag to get through but if I really can't get him to eat it are there any good options that are more palatable? Alternatively is the Baileys really that bad from a healthy hooves point of view??

Mine would not touch forage plus either even with delicious things mixed in with it.
I changed to pro hoof which he likes and eats in a handful of soaked grass nuts.

Thanks,,that's worth bearing in mind and I think Progressive Earth do sample bags so I could get one to try quite cheaply.

I chose the Forageplus as I think pro hoof smells like curry powder but maybe that doesn't bother him as much as me!

equimins smells like banana and curry powder I think too but my fuss pot much preferred that to a bespoke mix.
Agrobs is always my suggestion, we ordered it for delivery direct for a long time as nothing else made a difference.

Mine prefers Equimins as well. I find I have to change hers periodically, but at the monment soaked grass nuts, pink mash and a teaspoon of oats is doing the trick!
