October 2006, an incredible horse rescue took place in the Netherlands. The rescuers were six women on horseback.

Wow, just shows u their herd type instinct to follow.....very brave ladies, their own horses could surely have gone a little crazy when all those horses started to dispurse towards them.

Have seen this before, was lovely to watch again and rather moving........

They all went for slaughter.
These horses were kept on a meat farm, so they were only "saved" to re-coup some money.
Shame really.
