:D We moved yesterday afternoon and all has gone well so far! :D

He seems to be well on the mend, and is no longer hobbling at walk. Still a little tender at trot - he tried a few paces in the paddock and decided against it. So he is out for ten hours a day, and has ad-lib hay when in. Aside from this, he gets a handful of Dengie Molasses Free Chaff with his supplements and danilon (last dose today).

He appears to love his new stable: had a good dig around and a roll upon arrival, lol! You can imagine how glad we were that he was even able to get down and up again after everything!

Have to pop back to previous yard tomorrow and speak to YM regarding what happened and ask for our bill...

Ohhhhh a Herbie coloured pony :)
He looks lovely and his view from his new field wow.
I've just come back to the forum from having no internet so have missed your troubles but I hope you will both be happy on the new yard.

He's lovely, but how is his name pronounced?

Tick Ass Eee, lol! I get asked this a lot :)

Alas, I fear he will never win any shows :( He looks set to be overheight, and now thanks to his former fieldmates at previous yard, he is probably going to have several nasty scars on his withers and rump.

I don't really mind. Just want him sound again, he's got a lovely nature. He stopped at the ramp loading him up to travel to our new yard - low flying plane - so I was circling him to lead him on up, and small gang of noisy teens formed up and started videoing him! Yard staff's idea of helping load him was to run up behind him shouting and waving their arms, and then slam the trailer door shut! And I mean slam: the whole trailer shook  Poor little guy was rather non-plussed by it all.

I may have forgotten to say thank you/goodbye...

Thank you! He has company in the adjoining paddocks, btw. He can also watch the pigs on the neighbouring farm, and the yard donkeys! And the cows, and the sheep, and the tractors....he is going to be well socialised!

What a bunch of idiots!!!

Just WTF?

Aw, thank you! Today we practised waving scary plastic bags around. Someone clearly forgot to explain to baby pony that these are, er, scary...

He is the Pony Without Fear...well, aside from tractors that are not moving and low flying planes! Those are pony eating monsters, you know :D
