Thank you! I went to Mount Mascal in Bexley today - large riding centre, very well-laid out and the staff were really friendly. My instructor was very good, and really helped me remember what I was doing as it's been so long since I've ridden properly I had forgotten most of it (right down to trotting on the diagonal - oops!). To be fair, it was my first riding lesson in Britain and I found it a lot more technical than any other riding lesson I had had in Ireland - the schooling was much more detailed and I really felt like I was getting proper tuition, not just the pleasure of an hour's ride around the indoor. I had a rather green young horse who was an absolute sweetheart and we both worked extremely hard during the lesson!

Brilliant! I'm so pleased you had a good lesson and a good instructor - it's an amazing place isn't it, massive and scarily well organised! I'm sure you'll progress really quickly now, once you've got back in the way of it. Well done!
