To all those out hunting today....

Unfortunately my camera died on me so I only managed to get a couple of pictures of a few hounds and His Grace The Duke of Beaufort at Worcester Lodge.

We were out with the Quorn today - photos later!

So pleased with my mare though - shes 20 now, and is just the perfect lady to hunt, jumps everything and NEVER bucks. Despite spending the morning rearing at her stable door, as she knew it must be a party day, she stood rock solid at the meet.
 
Out today but YO has camera so will put up tomorrow. Lovely meet as usual but sadly once out gates that should of been open were locked. Sheep fencing that should of been removed wasnt meaning that those who didn't want to jump or like myself were faced with a totally trashed and unsafe to jump had to take a 20 minute detour and still couldn't find the hounds. Secretary didn't have a clue where to go even though we suggested (same route every year). After a few phone calls they still were none the wiser so myself and a subscriber gave up and went home. Very disappointed as Boxing day meet is one of the highlights of my year (I'm not really sad !)
 
Nice day for it in this neck of the woods! No hunting for me though as my boy is off games. Might have copped a ride for Saturday and I now have a digi camera so I'll be able to post pics providing I can find someone to take some. Fingers crossed!

Nice pictures rudoph_bum13, thanks for sharing. The Beaufort huntsman (Tony Holdsworth) used to be huntsman of my local pack so its interesting to see your photos.
 
Lucky you lot I am jealous I had fall on Christmas eve and am now off games for the forseeable future so I am sick. Poor little Horse is off to the vets next week as she came out took a look at him and muttered darkly about kissing spines so I am worried about him too.
Hope you are all having a good time though.
