I cannot thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!!
I went up to the yard this afternoon and just spent time with my horse, then after some brushing, carrots and a scratchy session we went into the school and did some fabulous walks around the school ... I began to feel more confident. There wasn't another person in sight which helped, so I went into trot and he was as good as gold .... by the end of a 20 minutes session I was cantering !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And LOVING IT , at one point I even think I shouted "Yahoo" at the top of my voice ...how embarrassing ..... I couldn't believe it....... I took the pressure off myself and low and behold the confidence came back ... THEN instead of putting him back in the stable and letting the grooms put him out (after untacking brushing washing etc) I rode him BAREBACK (which I have never done before) in a headcollar and rode him back to his field through the RIVER and loved it ........ I have done more this afternoon than I have in the last 6 months I AM ELATED!!!! Thank you soooooooooooooooo much everyone , I am ready for lessons now :-))))

Yay!! Thats fantastic. I've just got back from a great ride as well, even managed a canter too! Never done the bareback ride to the field as it is literally 20 strides from the yard, very jealous! xxx

My pleasure...I'll let you into a secret...*whispers* before we left the yard earlier, I had a good squirt of rescue remedy and also put a load on an apple and gave Bentley some too!! x
